I just wanted to know if anyone new some solid evidence about this? I know chickens are omnivours, but species specific, would they eat them, and the moths too??

Yes, they will. I've been trying to breed these for my reptiles. Mine loved the moths but it took them some time getting used to the extra juicy worms.

I'm glad to hear this! I'm raising silkworms for the first time and I have way too many worms to keep up with. I'll raise them til they're a little bigger and then feed the extras to the chickens.

My chickens love silkworms. I've started raising them just for the chickens. Cheaper than buying freeze-dried mealworms.
