⠀ chickens exploring the dog pen

I would like to be able to let my chickens roam around in my fenced in dog pen when my dogs are inside to eat the bugs and grass. Would it be safe/healthy for the chickens and the dogs be exposed to each others poop? TIA

Dogs WILL eat chicken crap, it seems to be one of their favorite treats... Mine have never died.
