Good on your girl!! And it does give me hope!

Heh - yesterday I was telling another woman at the feed store about how nuts my gals went for the feed with the chicken fat & broth in it. An old fellow spoke up and said he would NEVER give his chickens chicken meat, fat or broth to eat - he doesn't want them to get a taste for chicken and start eating each other. I gave him a look and in my best 'channeling Al' way I said, 'Mr. the day I see a chicken headed for the coop with a bundle of herbs, a skillet and some flour is the day I start worrying about them getting a taste for chicken...'

LOL you done good son heheheheheeee, although Ole AL wouldn't have been able to pass up that juicy opportunity to lay into him with a very wity sharp tongued response that would have given him heart palpatations LOL. Let's just hope you got my burn a hole in yer head eye squint and furrowed brow impression down right, on the off chance he didn't get the point. I love to make old folks soil their diapers then call their doctors or therapist LOL LOL, well and young folks too for that matter don't want to discriminate ya know.

"The look" is pretty powerful. I was in a bank once and I watched this kid look around.....you know he was going to do something he shouldn't do. He started to unlatch the velvet rope they use to keep people in line and then he took a quick second look to be sure he wasn't going to get caught and our eyes locked. Well....he dropped the rope and ran behind his mother and started crying. hahahaha It is good to know I still have it.

I wish I was l, but this last show last weekend did me in for a while. I have been told that I have a pretty awesome death stare..must be these squinty eyes of mine. Who is judging that show?

I laughed, I cried, I am awed!!!! EXACTLY what I would have said!

I would have followed it with how much they love the chicken parts I give them during processing but I think he would have tuned me out by then....or ran away.

Does an OTs heart good to hear the wisdom rippling out in wider and wider circles in this ol' pond called chickens.

I have it too. I wonder if all true OTs have that look but I can make other people's dogs and children behave when they cannot and they always tell me their husbands are "intimidated" by me...and that's when I'm friendly to them. Can't imagine how much they would pee down their legs if I got testy. I could tell you stories....
