Oh...sorry, Fred...didn't mean to wake you.![]()
All these story's about the sound of belt buckle's and switches do not bring back such good memories for me. I give people credit for finding good in them. I personally do not, and wish I did. It just brings memories of pure terror and fear.

I'mm sorry about all that. Sounds like you have been able to move on with your own inner peace and strength. How are your sisters holding up?Me to, I was beaten till I was black and blue. My mother beat us while dad was at work I got the worse of it. She would make me pick the switch if it was not thick enough she would make one of my sisters pick it. In highschool I had to change for gym in the bathroom so no one would see.
Ran away when I was 16 got caught by the cops given back to my parents my mother beat me all the way home. My parents were not drunks are drinkers...they just took spare the rod spoil the child a step or two to far.
And imagine the awful trama that poor sweet girl must go through being held by the legs OMGyou terrible people. Now she has be to taken to the vet and evaluated for any physical harm then taken to a chicken whisperer for proper mental analysis, god forbid she grows up with a complex I just couldn't forgive myself. Ok so now I feel bad so I am heading into the kitchen for a few hours to cook and prepare a fresh treat for them and take it to them asap as a peace offering. i hope they come out of the little birdy house thing in the morning.![]()
Okay, I have a couple chicklen questions. I have noticed in the last 24 hours.....the roos will stand on one leg a lot and never used to. The chickens are a little bit pecky at each other, the roos are sparring a lot and they never used to and one looks roughed up. Now I'm worried about gout and today gave them just regualr feed because my FF is 18% protein. I might be over reacting and this might just be because they are all getting older. Most were born at Easter and about 6 weeks after. Do I need to cull one of these roos. Dern I used to brag about how well they get along.I would say that is an accurate assessment. That's a real shame and I'm sorry. I'd have loved you better if you were mine....![]()
