they are much brighter in the sunlight. The showroom lighting just kills the color. They are as wild as a March hare when free ranging, so I thought I would have to do a lot of show coop training, but that only took less than a minute. I have gotten to really enjoy these birds. One of the things I really like about them is that none of them have flat front ends. Many large fowl have flat lower chests, but none of these do and again it was a random selection.

They are very pretty in the sun.

The young show groupies really like Al, so he can't be all that bad.

Beatuful they remind me of a beautiful fall colors.

Is there a website that lists poultry shows and what area that they are being held? I would love to go to one just to see the birds & learn

I think the eastern poultry shows are pretty much over, but I know they have a show in Syracuse and Hamburg, but I don't know where else in NY. This newspaper has all the shows and other show info.. http://www.poultrypress.com/contents.html
