so first off hello! my chicken spaz came down with bumble foot a while back and weve had a few chickens whose had it so knew what we were doing. we got the core out and all good or at least it seemed like it. it didn't go away after a few weeks and formed a new bubble on the side of the foot between the toes. so we cut that open and so much solid pus came out of it and it went down so we thought it was good. well today the bubble was back and the bottom of her foot the pad we originally cut open and got the core out of has turned white and bumpy. so my grandma cut that open and its solid like cartilage and hard...like there is absolutely no pink soft flesh like ive read there should be. its all solid hard and white. so i come to you all for some help cause were in desperate need. do we just keep cutting the white stuff out? its taken up her entire foot and shes not eating very well and is so thin! shes drinking more then eating. grandma thinks we didn't get all the infection out and it just got worse but is afraid to keep cutting cause like i said its her entire bottom foot thats white and hard and dont want to ruin her foot...if we haven't already. shes one of my favorites and i hate seeing her in pain but were out of our minds trying to figure out what the hecks going on. cant take her into a vet kinda strapped for money and no bird vets i know of.

give electrolytes homade or from the store and put her on soft bedding like pine shavings or straw.

what could she have damaged it on to a point were it covered her whole foot?

what food is she on?

weve given her elecrolytes for the full 3 days it said and shes eating a little bit compared to nothing like before. honestly i dont know. we use purina scrach and crumples for all our chickens...have for years. im confused how it went from small to now her entire foot and im afraid we might lose her.

We just wrapped it after putting some blue coat on it. I'll take some pictures when we reward it tomorrow morning and post them. I'm just not sure why her entire foot is white and hard like cartiledge. I mean it's barely bleeds and it's the entire pad and swollen of just white cartoledge or whatever it is. I'm not sure if it's her actual foot or if the infections that bad or what. I'll post pictures tomorrow morning when we unwrap it and see what you all think. I'm just so lost and afraid of losing her. I imagine she absolutely loathes us by now. After all that we did I'd probably be bit spiteful to haha.

So here's some pictures of her foot. Not sure how well you can see but it's entirely white and hard like cartilage.

The top has a bubble that we keep pushing puss and solid puss out of. The bottom of her foot is just so hard I'm not sure if it's her cruel foot or what. I've read that it's supposed to be pink and bleeding and soft yet hers is white hard and barely bleeds. I'm just lost on what to do and if we should do anything or just keep putting blue coat on it pushing on the bubble bump on the top and keep wrapping it. She still doesn't eat much and I feel we may have ruined her foot but I just don't know.
