I found Quincy the Golden Laced Wyandotte with a horrible case of bumblefoot in her foot. I followed instructions on here for removing the infection, then dressing , bandaging, and separating her. However, the holes in her foot are now huge, deep, and gaping. The foot was packed with infection which alternated with healthy tissue, making it hard to get all the infectious material out. Her foot is really hot and she is panting. Has anyone had a case this bad where the chicken healed after this or should I take her to the avian vet tomorrow when they open? She didnt appear to lose too much blood? These are pictures are after teying to get stuff out yesterday, but before cutting into it today.I gave antibiotics and Flock 911 in her water just now. Does she need aspirin too? Thank you.
