I found Quincy the Golden Laced Wyandotte with a horrible case of bumblefoot in her foot. I followed instructions on here for removing the infection, then dressing , bandaging, and separating her. However, the holes in her foot are now huge, deep, and gaping. The foot was packed with infection which alternated with healthy tissue, making it hard to get all the infectious material out. Her foot is really hot and she is panting. Has anyone had a case this bad where the chicken healed after this or should I take her to the avian vet tomorrow when they open? She didnt appear to lose too much blood? These are pictures are after teying to get stuff out yesterday, but before cutting into it today.I gave antibiotics and Flock 911 in her water just now. Does she need aspirin too? Thank you.

@Eggcessive since I'm not likely to be much help here...
What kind of antibiotics did you give? Is this picture after you attempted treatment or before? It looks like there is still a lot of infection in the foot.

I gave a capsule of fish amoxicillin, 125mg , dissolved in water. Yes, agreed that there was still lots of infection

How much does your chicken weigh? If she is at least 4-5 pounds I would give amoxicillin 250 mg twice a day for 10 days. It would probably help to soak the foot in warm Epsom salts water and apply antibiotic ointment, a 2x2 pad and wrap the foot in strips of vet wrap. Do not get too tight or it can cut off circulation.

She is large, at least 5lbs.

It is not that a curate to give medicines in water, and amoxicillin settles out or is not soluble in water. Sometimes if a tablet or capsule have to be split into 2 or more doses, I will give the contents of capsule or crush a tablet into scrambled egg or something like cream cheese. But with the exact dose, I would open her beak and pop the capsule in. Here are a couple of videos to help with that:
