Chickens Great Bend, Kansas?

Hello.. I'm moving to great bend, Kansas and I'm not finding any info online. Anyone know if backyard chickens are allowed there? Thank you

I live in Hoisington, which is 10 miles from Great Bend. It is NOT legal in Great Bend. I am currently working on changing laws in Hoisington, but I am not sure how well it will turn out. I am up against a surprising amount of opposition. I do have a facebook page about it: https://www.facebook.com/ChickensforHoisington. If we can pass it here, maybe it can pave the way to passing in Great Bend!

I live in Great Bend but I'm not in town. My understanding is that they are not allowed but depending on what part of town you live in you will not get in trouble for having them. I live just out of town and have chickens, guineas, and peafowl.
