Chickens have vet diagnosed coccidosis- can they pass this to ducks?

No, coccidiosis is in the soil. Corid is the first line of treat, ent for chickens, but sulfa antibiotics are sometimes used as well. Corid is available in many feed stores. Those (sulfa) come from a vet or some are available online.
Would you suggest to treat the ducks too? They are 100% fine. I’m actually trying to rehome them. I don’t want to give them to someone if they will get it.

No. Did you read the articles about coccidiosis and ducks? They should not be getting coccidiosisis from the chickens.
I’ve read so many articles the last week frantically. Some say yes and some say no. It’s confusing. I understand treating the whole flock bc it’s the chickens who are sick. No ducks are sick so I guess we are good! I think the wet conditions from the ducks made this bloom. I didn’t have separate quarters when you really should. I’m going to do what’s best for them, myself and the chickens. It was very sad having to bury my 2 favorite hens. :(

Really think that these are questions you should be asking your vet. They diagnosed the problem, they are experts in the problem, and their job is to help you fix the problem. Call them and ask them everything you need to know.

They actually are too busy from covid that they had the office lady let me know the test result after the lost it bc it was under a different name. Zero speaking to the actual doctor bc there are overloaded with cats and dogs. What a disaster 2020 is... thanks a lot VET. Thanks for your help too! :/
