Chickens I Want!

I love all my chickens and I'm so happy that someone started this thread! :) I am so very proud of my EE,silver laced wyandotte and cochins! But it would be fun to have:
lavender Ameraucana
lavender cochins got to love lavender :)

And I guess I will have to admit!  I WANT SOME BLRW! But I can have only 4 in my area, thats why I have 8. Do the math!

I want a blue laced red Cochin <3

I need more chickens. o.o
I still have a lot of convincing to do around the house, but I have hope. I mean, I'm down to 2, it makes sense to fill up the coop again, right?

It is my #1 goal in life (is that sad?) to have my 5 dream chicks by next spring. 8D

· Barred Plymouth Rock (because the first one I had was the most incredible chicken in the world <3)
· Blue Laced Red Wyandotte (because omgpretty)
· Buff Brahma (because fatness)
· Blue Ameraucana (because beards)
· Mille Fleur d’Uccle Bantam (because beards)

And then my life will be complete. Sort of.
I still have this need for ALLLLL the easter eggers, a Buff Laced Polish (yes, those heads are FANTASTIC!), an Egyptian Fayoumi...and about a dozen other breeds I'd love to own.
But I live in the city, and my original limit was 4 chickens. Now I'm trying to pull off 7. EEEK.

I also would LOVE to own an EE roo someday. They're so gorgeous.

I think it makes perfect sense!!!

I love all your picks too! I've got 3 light brahmas (about 5 weeks old) and they are already fat and fluffy! And super sweet too! I love my EE's, and wish I had more! Good luck with your convincing!! It can be frustrating trying to make someone "see the light" when it comes to chickens!

Some pics of my new chicks! Just had number 3 hatch this morning! They are just so tiny and cute! Not sure what breed they are(some kind of bantam) never did figure out for sure what the mama and roo are so I'm just calling them my picasso chicks.

I saw a picture of tolbunt polish a few days ago. I def want a few of them to breed. Hubby said when we move in a couple years he'll buy me a few and build me a coop just for them so I can start breeding them!

When you do get moved and go to build a coop, make sure you build it bigger than you think you need to! It never ends up being just a "few" chickens! They're just too addictive!

Lol oh I know! I didn't even want chicks to start with and now I can't get enough of them. I think I'm gonna turn our 10x16 lofted barn that is our coop/storage into their coop and get something larger for the main flock.

Sounds like a nice setup! Have fun! We had a shed attatched to our house and that's where I made my coop. Three years and I'm still changing it all the time! I think coop design is just as addictive as the chickens in it!
