chickens in Atlanta Illinois

Hi, I am a newbie!
Still Learning how to use this sight.
I am in Atlanta Illinois where they currently
Have a no farm animal ordinance. I called
AND JUST AS I THOUGHT NO CHICKENS.
I am planning to try to change this, so if
Anyone around here has tried or knows
How to accomplish this any insight appreciated.
I am wanting Cochins and silkies

Thank you for the reply. Your chickens are beautiful and loved the stories. I would have loved to see the chickens with the bugs and definitely you seeing the ? broom bug lol
I have been searching lots of articles and pictures on here for a good month now and already love all the information on here!

Very nice to meet you Tina. I didn't even know there was an "Atlanta," Illinois. Given that, I am surprised they are reluctant to allow chickens.
