Chickens in Boyne City

Chickens in the city have been hotly contested up here, especially in Petoskey, but my hometown of Boyne City is about a month away from allowing four hens for folks in the city limits. That's me! I've been eager to raise chickens for a while. I don't have any yet, but I have a large pole barn, lots of space, and children who can help. I like growing food and cooking and riding my motorcycle too. Thanks!

Yeahhh ! I am so Happy For you ! I was just reading a Thread where a town only allowed ONE Hen .. Thats just cruel they are very much a Social Bird and I feel should be in a minimum of three. She is fighting it .. I am Happy for you that they will Allow 4 .. Sounds like you will have a great set up and plenty of Help for a little Flock ! Enjoy and Welcome TO BYC
