I am moving into the county of Pickens, SC in a few months. I am not able to locate what the Chicken Laws are for that county. If anyone could give me information I would really appreciate it. Thank you

To learn about your local codes, check
If you local town is not listed here, and I do not believe yours is, you can just google search your town name + town code.

This site may have the details that you need:

If chickens are not allowed, I HIGHLY recommend you propose a change to your local town board to permit them. Be prepared with facts, and what you specifically would include in the law for allowing chickens. You should also find other supporters in your area, this type of change would likely require a public hearing to allow the other town members to comment on the proposal, and then a vote of the board. Good luck!!
