Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised with a perfect hatch, 6 out of 6! They are the absolute cutest!I might be a little biased, though.

Such sweet babies!
We had corn on the cob the other night, and the girls got the leftovers. So, here are the girls tearing into their treat like the little dinosaurs they are:

I've never heard of that hairstyle, had to look it up. My mom always calls it her Farrah Fawcett hairdo.
x2
Love it!
Know that grab and twist from being bitten..haha!
Dig the 'DA' hairdo on the EE at lower left, have a couple birds like that.

Let me know if y'all have any ideas!

Hey, all! A bit of a revival here! I would genuinely like to continue doing these videos, but I think I'm out of ideas other than rehashes of what's been done! Anyone have any suggestions?
I'm still working on worm pulling as was requested long, long ago (which is easier now with all the rain we've had, but boy is it hard to catch!), plus I want to get more angles on flying and running where possible, and maybe scratching in dirt or leaves rather than just in feed. Here's a list of what I've already done:
- Jumping for treats
- Dust bathing
- Eating from the food dish
- Flying, viewed from behind
- Plucking greens / foraging
- Rejection of a leaf while foraging
- Drinking
- "3rd eyelid" blinking
- Various vocalizations
- Scratching in the feed pan
- Collecting oil from the "preen gland"
- Shaking feathers out
- Running, viewed from the side (out of focus, though
)
- Wattle waving
- Crowing / wing pumping
- Duck bathing
- Duck flapping in bath
- Duck preening after bath
- Chicks eating
- Chicks running
- Bite and twist maneuver on corn
And I think that's everything.Let me know if y'all have any ideas!
P.S., I also have just a couple other slow motion videos that are super cool, but not poultry related at all (for example, one is of a frog hopping). I could easily get those uploaded and posted while working on more slow-mo chicken videos if anyone was terribly interested.![]()
For educational purposes, of course!!

How about some of chickens and/or ducks mating? For educational purposes, of course!!

Unfortunately, I lost one of my duck hens earlier this year and I'm still trying to get my drake and the remaining duck hen to bond, so that's not likely to happen, at least not any time soon.
