I'm the Mrs. Blais towards the end of the article. Well written, but the author got me wrong on an important point - I said 5lbs of poo a *month* not a week!

I have 10 standard chickens and I easily get 10 lbs of poo a week. but I clean up the 2 runs and the coop daily. I am amazed at how much poo chickens generate. I had no idea I would be in for so much scooping. ppl considering getting chickens should be more prepared for "poop" management.
