My hens LOVE the rain. That's when they get busy scratching looking for worms, which they love. Hubby and I were planting tomato plants the other day and all of them were standing in a line waiting for us to toss them the grubs and worms we came across. It's so funny to watch the others try to snatch a bite from the hen that has it, they don't like to share.
. I just put them in. The pin door blew closed and I found them under the compost maker. I found them soaked to the skin. Mean while my broody mini chicken must be laughing at them. She stayed dry. Put them in and thought I needed to check out this post. Good to know that it's ok.
