Watch their combs... how pink are they? Boys usually mature faster so using them as an indicator doesn't tend to be reliable... :/

Pullets combs will get really bright and a bit bigger when they get to POL...

I think it's pretty admirable that a call from his aunt is high on his list! My nephews probably wouldn't even acknowledge a call from me...
