That's what I'm trying with no luck so far. I've had some after hatch deaths in other chicks from these eggs, and it has pointed towards digestive issues. This is one of the chicks from the non Davis hens. She has no paste on the outside, and a large knot inside, like she's never goneonly thing is massage toward anus and gently... idk what could be wrong unless she was butt pasted and it fell off outside allready but was extended inward>? sorry

yep, what are they SC two or three days old? That's what I was wondering.
Awesome! That makes me excited for my broody. I want to see her taking care of the chicks. Can I slip a few of my recent hatch into her brood once they hatch?
For some reason I thought you were doing one more round of BCM. I'm sure you have enough to pick from though.
Yes, I will leave them another day either way. That's an awesome hatch!! Congrats!! When you take the chicks out to go into the brooder, candle the last two and see what's going on, they might just be late, like you said.![]()
I know! Me too! So adorable!!
Too cute! Are they good with chickens?
I love them!!

ve never done a necropsy, but I've lost 7 chicks from those hens that way. Walnut was the first to suggest that could be the problem. Only two of those chicks in this batch, and this is one of them. That's what I was wondering.
