I write on my calendar whether I get a duck egg each day. So far, Juice has only skipped one day this month, Oct 12th.

Sidewing, I had the same thought. I was at my in-laws yesterday and jumped two pretty big 2 points, one that was about 24 inches wide and as big as most 4 points. But the big one was a 4 by 6. He had 2 cheaters coming of his left side. I was about 30 yards from them. They sleep in my in-laws back yard where it is illegal to hunt since they are within city limits. 

They KNoW where and when it is safe, ive heard that all my life! Theyre sleepin in your inlaws yard because the woods are dangerous lol!

And theyre in BYCs yard to eat safely...

Critters have more brain cells than most of the people i know!

Im for a november laying season from my ducks.

Update of my set though, all 14 of my pourous bresse eggs and both black isbars are all developing nicely! Day 14 of incubation, ive lost 5 of my own eggs, i think due to the long storage, i was 3 weeks waiting to set. Still have 14 of my own mix breed brown and 13 of the green though!
