I'm finding that breeding is extremely aggravating, but can be very rewarding too. The good thing about these chickens is they sell quickly, even with full disclosure on my faults. People just want the blue egg gene. I will never get show quality prices in my area, but the chickens will always be in demand, apparently even the roosters. I had one guy drive almost 3 hours on Sunday, and he bought three

Now these 2 pullets I am happy with so far... 2nd looks lighter than she is, but happy with how they're looking... getting the size from their moms and type from their dad fairly well... and beards/muffs are better than their dad's...

We will be trying them soon... the drake she is with now is bigger than I like, but he's a Pastel so babies will be Blue Fawn... after losing Burn, I gotta hatch some BF's for my OH...
