kwite, I agree. it still amazes me, to see kids so absorbed into their electronic device, walking through a store, with their eyes glued to the little screen, and I just look at them and shake my head.
and when you look at the parents, they are doing the same thing.

What really burns me is to see my grandkids (5, 19-23ish) sitting around the supper table at family gatherings, totally absorbed with their smartphones, tablets, or whatever else the happen to be using. SO RUDE, as Marsha used to say

The company I work for did a Dirty Jobs episode in 2009.  I wish I had worked here back then!  They said he was fabulous.  I did get a copy of the "behind the scenes" DVD, which shows a lot of the stuff they taped that didn't make the final cut.

I'm not too far from where he did the oyster harvesting episode. We love that guy here too!

My daughter had a phone, until she drowned it in the tub... ha ha ha. Haven't gotten another one yet. They turn kids into coma patients. At least zombies want something to do with even parents!

My local place was on Nancy Grace last night. There was a quadruple murder about 30 minutes from me.
