Chickens IQ to different poultry.

"From anticipating future events to recalling the trajectory of a hidden object, chickens are incredibly smart. They even possess self-control, holding out for a better food reward, and can assess their own position in the pecking order—both characteristics of self-awareness."

"They're super smart. A recent study has shown that chickens are intelligent and emotional animals, and are able to “demonstrate thinking skills on par with mammals and primates“. If you hide an object from a chicken, they will still know it's there — this is something even young human kids aren't able to do."

Unfortunately, there is no IQ test to measure the different intelligent quotients of poultry so we can compare them, but if I were permitted a guess, our domestic poultry, chickens, ducks and geese, all have similar intelligence levels.

On the other hand, ornamental captive species such as parrots, and wild bird species such as crows, ravens, and eagles, are stunningly intelligent, and some even make and use tools.

Here are some highlights of a chicken's intelligence. But any backyard chicken keeper will testify that chickens have stellar intellects. https://mercyforanimals.org/blog/chickens-are-intelligent-and-sensitive-so/

I've been around turkeys that are extremely intelligent though most of the pheasants and quail don't seem to be as smart. But then, that's merely anecdotal. In general, I just think most birds are smarter than most people give them credit for. My chicks seem to be just as smart as my lovebird.

Ok thank you
