Chickens kept with goats, and questions about mineral supplements

I see lots of things on the internet to indicate that keeping chickens and goats in the same space is mostly just fine. I understand that I'll have to keep the goats out of the chicken feed because it is dangerous to them, for example.

I've read that goats should be given mineral supplements in the loose pellet forms because the mineral block is akin to giving someone without their top dentures an apple to eat. How do you goat and chicken owners deal with this? Are mineral blocks really so bad? Are the pellets dangerous to chickens? I would have to imagine that they are if for no other reason that the amount of copper in them is dangerous to sheep and chickens are way smaller so they naturally wouldn't need that level of copper supplement either.

What else should I know?
