Chickens laying for months now NOTHING - molting?, Help!

Our chickens have been laying for 3 months now.

On Sunday we removed an "extra" roo from the coop. The laying tapered off all week and then on Thursday we got NO eggs. Is this due to the missing member of the flock.

If so when will they get over it? Or is it something else?

I have noticed extra feathers in the yard. Are they too young to molt this fall. They hatched on Feb 27th/28th. I just read a post that hens won't lay when molting. Could that be the problem?

Seems to be a trend... I'd say molting is to blame... but I'm no expert as this will be my first molt.. LMAO or rather my chickens

I just did away with 3 of my extra roos as they were terrorizing the hens with wanting to mate them constantly... I'm hoping it will help too
