Chickens laying in boxes but leaving without laying an egg

My chickens are 2 years old and they will go lay in the nesting boxes for about an hour each day just to leave without laying an egg. My 2 eatser Eggers are still laying perfectly normal getting 1-2 eggs a day from them. I maybe get 1-2 eggs a week from 2 Rhode Island reds and 2 barred rocks combined. They’ve had bald backs and no tails for over a year now so it’s hard to tell if they’re molting but could that be the issue or is it something else?

Well one of them has a bald back, 4 have no tails, and 2 of them have some decent tail feathers. And I did introduce 6 new littles about a month or so ago so maybe that could be affecting their laying?

Pictures of your setup please. Molting doesn't go on for a year. sounds like feather picking.
