my chickens lay there eggs in the late afteroon like 3-4 and sometimes even at 6-7 is this normal? I always though they laid in the morning's lol if its not normal how do I get them to lay in the morning? if i can?

I guess its the crappy weather here in the desert, mine are doing the same thing and i even have a light for them with a timer so they have more hours of light

It's normal. They can lay at any time during the day. Depends on their frequency of laying. For example one of my hens lay egg one day and then next day she takes off. So, whenever she lays it's in the morning. The other one lays 2 eggs for 2 consecutive days and then takes one day off. So, when she lays after one day break, it's usually in the morning, but the next day egg is in the evening ( because it's the very next day).
That's just an example any hen can lay at any time. You don't need to worry about it.

mine seen to be on an hour scedule lets say every 27hr I get an egg.
On Monday I have an egg at 8 am on Tues I have one at 11 am Wed its 2 in the afternoon Thurs 5 pm then they take Fri off and the cycle starts again at 8 am on Sat
I think it is pretty neat seems one has about 26 hr schedule and one has 28 hr schedule this is all +or- a little but pretty regular

it prolly is this crappy weather
that they are now laying like this I know my grandfathers chickens laid there's early in the morning and he fed then gathered the eggs I feed and then gather the eggs when I lock them up for the night lol

None of mine have ever laid their eggs all in the morning. When i let them out at 8:30 or 9am the only eggs are from my ducks. Usually the last egg is laid at 5 or later. I dream of the day i let them out and only have to collect eggs once.

My two orpingtons (blue and Buff) tend to lay on an hourly schedule but consistently lay every 5-6 days before taking a day off. The start off laying in the morning and by day 5-6 they are laying in the late afternoon.
