Chickens not laying

As aart said earlier, it could be the changing of daylight and temperature depending on your location. I don't usually have this problem until late November because I live in the Southern Hemisphere.

It also my be nutrition.

Makes thread hard to read the way you are posting.

Sorry, using a phone and have been doing a lot lately, will try to cut down on single sentence posts.
I've heard the BYC mobile app has some drawbacks that might need to be overcome........but might just be a texting habit you're exhibiting.

I received 18 chickens (16 hens, two roos) when a friend had to move suddenly. I already had a young flock that were not all laying yet. After I got the new birds I got two eggs from them...two, and she was getting about 10 a day, the rest were too young. Mine which were giving me about a dozen a day dropped to about half a dozen. Then once the weather changed and it got dark, I dropped to just a few eggs. I have added two hours of light on a timer and added a "auto" feeder, today I got 31. I also have had to move a few roos with a few hens out to smaller breeding pens because I ended up with a few mean hens. Now everyone is happy in their own space, with 92 (too many roos and many too young to lay) chickens. Since they aren't laying now I would worm them...just in case parasites are a problem for them, since there is no eggs you won't have to dump them. ;) Best of luck...
