Chickens not laying

I don't know whats going on with my chickens, they are 8 months old and have never laid an egg. What is going on with them? Also when my other chickens are going thru their molting what kind of vitamins can I give them and can I still eat the eggs?

How many hens?

How long have you had them?

What are you feeding?

Are they free range or penned? If penned, how much room?

RE. vitamins ~ McMurray makes a good vitamin/probiotic supplement called Avia Charge 2000 which is very good. No problem with eggs that I am aware of. I use it.

I would just change out the water every day when using so it doesn't get funky with all those vitamins in there.
