Chickens randomly dying with no signs or symptoms?!

Yeah, we threw out all the eggs that they laid while we were gone (my in-laws were collecting the eggs for me). Also, no more dead chickens!! but still no eggs.
What do y'all think? Just a few of them got sick and died and the rest got over it easier, or what? I didn't send in the last dead chicken to get tested because I found out once it dies it needs to be put on ice to preserve it so they can test it, I didn't do that lol and they wanted it within 24 hours of death. Too late.
