CHICKENS SICK ALL THE TIME, READY TO GIVE UP!

I will look into putting a tarp over run area, that will definitely help! My young pullet with the injured leg & bleeding ear died today. I got home from school and went to her pen to clean her ear wound and she was having a seizure/convulsion and died.. Her poop was a neon green color, it was a neon yellowy-orange color I think from the electrolytes I was putting in her water. It wasn't runny.

Was this from coccidiosis?

Necropsy may be lower cost than what you think. Here it is $30 for a chicken, and that includes things like advanced molecular testing techniques. In your case, where you are losing so many birds, you should definitely look into what the options are in your area. Check out your county extension office.

x2

Significantly less expensive than a vet appointment, but just as informative, I should think.

Sorry for your loss. I hope things are going a little better for you.
