Chickens starting a sewing club???

OK, this was weird - while processing some roos, we ran across a NEEDLE in one's gizzard!!!

It was embedded in the muscle, didn't look like it was going anywhere. The flesh appeared to have re-formed around it in a protective layer. I think if we hadn't processed the roo, it would have been FINE!!!

Another roo had a BUTTON in his gizzard...

Question: Were these roos starting a sewing club? If so, does that mean they were girly-boys????
