My chickens are better now. they come running when they hear or see me. My hubby repared the fence.
I am sorry, I ment that the bunnys were in an empty bunny cage 2 doors down from their own.
I have a new litter of bunnys now. they are doing good. I just love my bunnys and chickens. they keep me going.
I have lupus, somedays it is all I can do to take care of myself. The critters give me somthing to look forword to everyday. I have to get up to take care of them no matter how bad that I feel. So they literaly keep me going. I have enjoied all of this conversation thanks Lisa

Lisa, I'm so glad to hear your chickens are doing better--and yay about the new litter of bunnies! I want to get bunnies, too eventually.
I'm glad you have your bunnies and chicks to help you get moving on your bad days--I'm so sorry you have to live with lupus--I pray for lots of good days for you!

So sorry for your troubles!!

I have always put spinach in the run and sat there quietly and slowly to get them to come back around (thanks to some advice from a very good friend of mine) and they usually do!! I am finding I am learning a lot of patience having chickens!!

I think I read someone said to put chair in there and just sit with them, that is a GREAT idea!! But bring treats too!! They will come around again, they don't forget who the momma hen is, and when they do come around

their little hearts will melt for you again!!
