Chickens totally ignored their morning treat

I always throw a treat out for my adult birds before letting them out of the coop in the morning. This morning it was a bunch of strawberry tops and bruised strawberries.

They totally ignored the strawberries and ran right past them to the fig trees.

Caution! Messy poops ahead.

I want a fig tree! Sounds like the fruits make great treats. Too bad it makes the poop even worse though, lol.

Can't blame em, I'd take figs over strawberries myself

Though, I've now learn't they make messy chicken poop, so, I'll plant the fig tree's outta thier area
