That’s gonna make a lot of pie! That’s so cool! Are the seeds good for roasting, too? And was that tough to grow that large?

I mostly make pumpkin muffins with it.

Big Moose are relatively easy to grow. They are a short season pumpkin. Regular water and fertilizer.

The seeds are big.

I will have to keep this variety in mind for next year! We want to have a garden by then, and I told DH I'd love to do some pumpkins. Maybe some carving ones too, though.

Unfortunately there are still a lot of leaves on our tree, this may cause some breakage.

Also unfortunate, weiner dog does not want to go outside today
