I'm not sure why the Jungle chickens aren't using the coop. We got them a week ago and they are about 5 weeks old. We have two of them and they are the only ones in the area at this time.
Any thoughts on this?

They don't know that it's "home." You will need to place them inside for several nights in a row (close the pop door so they can't come back out). Turning a small light on inside the coop about 15-30 minutes before dark can help lure them inside. If you don't have electricity out there, just use a flashlight or one of those batter opporated stick-on lights. Turn it off after everyone is settled in.

Also, don't get discouraged if it takes awhile. Some bird brains are smaller than other. I played chicken wrangler for 10 nights before my girls got the idea.

I would just lock them in the coop day and night for about a week. That will also help them register where home is, and it will be less work for you.
