Chicken's vent won't stop pulsating

Hi, I have a banty barred rock, about 1 1/2 years old, who isn't feeling well. I noticed the day before yesterday, when she twice tried to jump on the step to the henhouse, and missed. She had a big ball of poop stuck to her but, and when trying to get it off, I realized that her vent is constantly working. I put her in a separate cage. She isn't eating much, she pecked a little at some lettuce, and took a few bites of oatmeal. I don't think she touched the feed. I do think she's been drinking water. She is standing all the time, not sitting at all. She is very docile and doesn't try to resist me at all (this isn't normal). I tried to feel whether she is egg-bound but can't tell for sure. I have seen her poop, it is runny but not terribly abnormal looking.

Ideas?

actually i think thats quite normal ive noticed it before on my non layers it seems perfectly natural for them.
