Hi i rescued some ex bat hens the other day and 2 of them are quite skinny small and seem to have there necks drawn in and looking abit sickly they are eating and foraging but not as lively as the other one, i think one has gape worm as keeps stretching head and gaping and they are also showing symptoms of coccidiosis, is there a wormer that will treat all these at once as i dont want to buy a load of different ones as then it gets complicated what i can use together. There poo seems normal and they are drinking and eating.
Thanks tanith

Thankyou everyone
Not much luck yet but hopefully will find out soon what stuff i need

Most people use Corid from the cattle medicines at feed stores to treat for coccidiosis. Dosage is 2 tsp of Corid Liquid per gallon of water changed daily for 5 days. The Corid powder dosage is 1.5 tsp. For worming to treat only roundworms, you may use Wazine 17 in the water for 24 hours. But if you can use Valbazen, you can dose each chicken 1/2 ml orally once and again in 10 days. SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer may be used as well orally to each bird, 1/4 ml per pound for 5 consecutive days. Valbazen and SafeGuard treat most of the worms chicken can get, where Wazine only treats roundworms.

If you have a vet who will do a fecal test, they can rule out worms or coccidiosis.
