Went to the coop at 7:30 a.m. to clean, etc. Shoveled the snow and ice in the pen and put down hay and they immediately came outside for a little while. Now, they are in and out. They are not hating it as badly as yesterday, but I AM !!

Pretty funny sight. I carried 4 girls across the path from the coop to the garage.
When there is a lot of snow of my hen's beak, she will stay perfectly still, as another hen eats the snow off. My girls don't drink as much water in the winter as they do in the summer, so snow is an alternative, and is a hydrating solid they can eat. Hopefully your girls get used to the snow soon
