Chickens wing is held out?

Hey! I have two RIR chickens that seem to be holding their shoulcers out and away from their stomach. I’ll try to get a pic! It is hot here so maybe they are simply doing it because they would like their underarms to cool. Not an emergency, but just curious!

Is it hot outside where you live? It might mean that the chicken is hot and it's trying capture cool air.
