Chickens with grass

This is something thats I cant find out can chickens live on grass and weeds plus all the bugs they find.

Hi Matt-----My 4 hens are free range and they basically do just that. They eat almost none of their feed in the spring and summer. When winter is here, there is less to find and they begin eating their feed again.

yes they can. .that's free ranging

but depends on how much grass, weed and bugs are available

if you live in some ACRE of lands and only have XX number of chickens then there should be plenty.. if not provide their main feed just in case they didn't forage enough for the day
