I have a Collie who is the "keeper of the flock" He sleeps with the chickens and guards them. One morning I was earlier then usual doing chores and Bambi was in the lean to that the Delaware roos are in sound asleep and I could not find him. Here he was cuddled up with chickens all around over and next to him! He's a blue merle so amongst all those white/black birds he was camouflaged. I wish I could have gotten a photo it was cute!

I only wish I had a video of this but I'll have to make due with description - I have a 20 lb black cat - Fingal - he likes to sleep in the coop. Apparently the girls are not aware that he is anything other than another bird - because the two lowest girls in the pecking order were allowed to share his food - a cat and two hens with their heads in the same 6 inch diameter food dish - the roosters about came unhinged -
