By the time you see a worm, they have a pretty bad infestation. I'd personally treat with whatever is easiest to find so you can begin treatment right away, and you'll want to treat the whole flock since they'll all have passed it around by now.
I don't have Valbazen experience but can share my experience with Safeguard. Roundworms unfortunately love our soil.
I've had good luck with the 10% liquid at the dosage per
@Overo Mare. It's easy to find at
Tractor Supply in the goat/sheep section.
Write up a checklist of dosages for each bird. Grab a needle-free syringe. Prepare an individual serving of a favorite treat [rolled oats, in our case]. Then separate a bird so she can have the treat all to herself, squirt her dose on top, and let her enjoy the treat.
Check her name off the list, repeat. Do the whole circus again 10-14 days later.
Most say to not eat their eggs 1-2 weeks after the last treatment. That's a bummer. But roundworms that severe are well on their way to starving your chickens, sooo, small price to pay. Good luck!
