Chickens WON'T Free Range??

Thanks so much for all the replays! What treats do you give your chickens? They are on organic layer feed right now and i want to feed them a good treat when they come out of the pen.

When my chickens see me they run to the gate and protest being inside the run. If I open the gate they run out but I'll check on them not five min later and usually the are back in their run. Of course if I want to shut the gate again they run out again. They are never happy.

Lol that's what mine are doing now. It's true they never do seem to be happy. My other chickens before I had to round them up to go to bed they couldn't get enough of running around.
