Chickens wont leave coop

Mine are doing the same thing.
After a week of being in their new coop, with the RUN door open, they will NOT go outside.
They just sit in the coop at the run door and look down, and jump over the door, but they will NOT go out.

I have put watermelon, strawberries, celery, and treats down there, and i have to go IN the coop and throw them out, and close the door behind them.

Keep us posted on how yours do, as will I!

I only have 3 chickens and for the past week only one of them has remained in the coop. The other two wander around the yard. I’ve picked her up and taken her out to see if she showed signs of being ill.
She ran to the front yard squawking and flapping her wings. Then she started pecking about, but within 10 min., she went back to coop. Today I took her out around 11:00am and it’s 11:40....she’s still out. So confused.

Me
Ok so I put my Red Junglefowl out in their coop about a week ago. I opened up the door to the run about 2 days ago, and the silly chickens wont leave the coop. Is this normal? Is there a way to get the chickens to come out without physically ushering them outside? I have even gone so far as to move their food and water outside today. been 7hr's and they havent even looked outside as far as I know.
My hens won’t leave coop either but I’ve had them only a week so maybe that is why in my case….i did usher them out yesterday as I cleaned the coop and got hubby to install new feeder and ventilation holes …they went back in on their own at sunset…this morning I opened the door but they still haven’t come out!
