Shay, the EE mixes i got from you, one of them laid a blue egg on the way home (or maybe after we packed up but before we left your place).

I got a couple nice pics of Jose and you with the birthday cake, i will try to d/l them from my camera later and post them.

We had a nice day, thanks so much for hosting these swaps!

Oh, and i still can't believe Jose talked us into taking his cute little bantam coop! I'm sure we will be able to use it next spring.

I want to thank everyone who donated items to the raffle tables all these stock and to those who bought tickets , and i will state why i have these raffles so every one knows in case they missed all the other threads,
We hold the raffle to help pay for the porta potty that i ordered so everyone can come and enjoy them selfs with out bicker, i made enough the first 2 times to pay for teh whole months, the rest of the times i had to pay out of my pocket more then half the bill, so i can not keep paying for it out of my pocket so they took and i owe and still paying on it, now i open my home to everyone so every one can come and enjoy.
I do the raffles instead of actully charging per car. I mean it gives everyone an option if they want to buy tickets and get something in return.

So I want to thank everyone again for all the donations.

We had a great time as usual today Shay and Jose! He was so suprised that we all were also there for his birthday! Thanks Shay for trading for the 2 hens and I am so happy I won the other two as well! I had held of buying the splash and then she was up for raffle and I also got a friend with her! What a deal that turned out to be! I thought I was going to have them be part of the free range flock, but once I got them home and looked them over and wormed them and applied the pest preventative, I have decided they will be part of the "protected" flock in the pen! They are too pretty to risk loosing. The buff colored one is so sweet already. Thank you to Cassie for giving my blackie Boy a home! He was getting so beat up by the cochin. Let me know how he is doing. Abby, if I was set up with a brooder I would have gotten that little black serama. I dont have a black one anymore. Jackie, the turkey dinner was delish and I loved the stuffing most of all. Nothing like stuffing made from scratch! I thought I heard that the next one was possibly on the 28th of Nov. but isnt that Thanksgiving weekend?
