Chickenstock fiesta yardsale August 21

i have 4 gorgeous and really sweet 1 yr old mixed bantam roosters (3 cochin X's, 1 white silkie X ) if anyone wants them. they're free. i'm also looking for a SQ polish pullet, preferably white crested blue...

My flock has overgrown my urban coop, so I'll be selling a few... make your claims now!

* SQ black east indies duck pair - $50 - Apollo and Calliope are beautiful and super sweet. Neither are particularly tame, but both will take treats out of your hand (esp. worms!). Both are moulting right now, and the feathers coming in are amazing! They will definitely be worth taking to a bunch of shows this fall... more pics of all the ducks here and here.

* Lavender call duck pair - $40 (trio for $50) - Earl Grey and Cappucino were supposed to be SQ, but the crew here recently informed me that they're not. Alas. They are still absolutely gorgeous and extremely entertaining. They are also not tame, but would easily learn to come to you for treats if you worked with them a little bit.

*Chocolate call duck hen - $20 (trio for $50) - Mocha is gorgeous and has an awesome personality. I'm hoping she can go with her other two call duck friends. Also not tame, but she's much more bold then the other two... I think given a little positive incentive she could be hopping into your arms in no time!

There may be some chickens on this list in the next few days as well, AND I'll be bringing my jewelry and a variety of other things to sell (not sure what yet). Thanks!

Ok, Chickimomma i hope ur comeing to teh chickenstock becouse i need more that awsome jalapino jelli you make.

I am not a fan of to many spicy thing just a few, and hubby made tonight spagetti, and made a souce useing the jelli (not spageti suece ) just a sweet and spicy souce, andf oh my god, i love that jelli.

Well The one time we forget to put the light on outside for teh chickens, we had a preditor attack!!

What ever it was it grabed i think one of my Faverell large girls, and she was sleeping on the outside of all teh fencing neer the corn,
And it grabbed and brought her to teh woods neer the trailer well past the trailer but that direction, It is liek it freakin waited for the oppertunilty to come all teh way around the big fencing to the corn in teh freakin dark, it is like it waited for the light to be out. Figures, well taht light will NEVER be out again!!
