The one splash chick looks good so far but the black chick only has 4 toes on each foot. Hopefully it will be a pullet and easily placed.

Nope, not yet.. Don't have much to put the blue and splash with just salmons..

Yeah held back a few hens for projects so all set there. Have not lost any to predators since they we moved into the barn a couple young ones when they first went out probably stress

I got him from a lady who gets chicks from me, i forgot where she said she got him, she is supposed to bring me another roo when she does i will ask her again.

Oh well, it has been an awefull week for us here. The daughter of a close friend passed away last Sunday so I was out strait all week , then on Friday, a half hour before my sister was picking me up for the wake I decided to go and check on all the chickens so I stepped over the gate. When I was done I came back and stepped over the gate again only to have my foot get caught and down I went on my knee like a pile driver! Off to the ER and nine stitches and a leg brace later I was on my way to the wake. Then on this Sunday we get a call that my brother-in-law passed away. He suffered a long time, so now I have another wake tomorrow night. I will not be stepping over the gate before I go either!

LOL, I knoiw, I am too lazy ti slide it open so I just step over it all the time like an idiot! But now I cant bend at the knee so I have been sliding it over.
Thank you for the condolences on the loss of Waynes brother also. Tonight is the wake and the funeral tomorrow. Rough rest of the wee for sure.
