Violet's comb really doesn't seem to be any different than my RSL's combs. But someone said that their faces are white, which also signals a roo, compared to a pullet's brown face. Ugh.

I bought them at an Agway, they were not straight run, they were supposed to be pullets.

Have you complained to the Agway where you bought them? I have a feeling they either ordered roos (straight run), or got them by accident.

Well, I did it again, managed to kill 21 chicks before they even hatched. They were all alive in their little eggs for lockdown, and ended up shrink wrapped. Followed the intructions from the breeder for hunmidity and all, but still shrink wrapped, even the 2 thermos/hydro's read the same. Only got 2 chicks and at that I had to wet and peel method them out of their shells. Is thee such a thing as a hatch-muderer....cause if so, I am guilty as charged. I really dont think I can bear to do this anymore. I think I will just have to buy live birds and even if it means having to get them shipped if it is a breed I want. I so wanted the modern games and ended up with one !

Shay I am trying to find a list of what you will have there... I looked through pages 98-88 with no success... will you have blue silkie pullets there by any chance and how much would they be?
