Please help! What the heck do you guys use to clean the smell of chicken poop off your hands?!? You have no idea how many times I've tried washing my hands with various soaps and cleaners.

I went to check on my little rooster this morning and he is FINE!!! He was so lucky, all he had was a scratch on his eye and his eye was closed, so I put neosporin on it and gave him his second tylan shot. (I had been treating him for that same URI that the others had, only he got it because I put that hen that got in with the ill birds back out with the free rangers because she showd no symptoms of getting sick) Wont do that again. So today I made a makesift pen in front of the doghouse so that when I open the door they are safely in an ex-pen with dog kennel panels and a crib side panel on top. God help that hawk if he tries to get in that!

Oh, good idea. I'll try a brush. I swear I'm scratching my skin raw trying to get that nastiness out!

I always wear vinyl or latex gloves when cleaning the birds etc. my hands always smell fantastic. well, maybe not alwasys fantastic! unless it is the rare occasion when I forget I am not wearing a glove until it is too late.

But what about when you hold your beloved birds and they happen to have dirty feet?

have you tried washing your hands and then using the alcohol cleanser. ?

Did anyone watch animal hoarders last night? Had a guy on who had 170 chickens, some lived out in a coop but, most lived loose in the house...poop everywhere!

ended up someone from BackyardChickens came and picked up all but 20.
